Meet Garrett Perea, Garrett moved to the valley in 1989 and graduated from Horizon high school in Scottsdale. As a football player and scholar, he received all-region honors his senior year.

Meet Garrett Perea, Garrett moved to the valley in 1989 and graduated from Horizon high school in Scottsdale. As a football player and scholar, he received all-region honors his senior year.
After high school, he served our country by enlisting in the US Coast Guard. He and his wife, Jacqueline, moved to the east valley in 2011, and have lived in Ahwatukee for the last 9 years. Since 2007, Garrett has been involved in coaching baseball, basketball, and football from the youth to high school levels. In 2007, he coached on the varsity staff at Cave Creek Cactus Shadows going 15-0, defeating Highly to capture the 4A II state title. Most recently, he has worked on the coaching staff and as an assistant coach of the Jackrabbits and Devilbacks football teams. Garrett is incredibly excited to continue the SEV tradition of building a community through youth football.

Meet Rae Black, Rae started serving the community by volunteering her time at SEV in 2018 as an officer. She became SEV's president in 2019 and is now passing the baton, and taking a back seat as she is highly involved in her son's football and baseball high school experience. in 2020 during the pandemic's peak, Rae earned her master's degree from GCU in English and recently a second graduate degree in English Second Language. She is currently a high school English teacher, girls varsity high school flag football coach, AIA track official, junior high school girls basketball coach, and mother, and she loves youth sports.

Meet Kristie Draper, in the summer of 2019, Kristie and her son moved from Nebraska to Ahwatukee! Upon arriving, they were introduced to tackle football and the SEV organization. Kristie became part of the football community and has loved watching her son. Her son, Grayson, is entering his 4th tackle season and excited to be back on the field. Kristie has a Bachelors Degree in Sports Marketing and currently works as an Admissions Advisor. She is eager to start volunteering with SEV because of the impact youth sports as on children and the community.
